Sarah Pawlicki is a personal trainer, krav maga self defense instructor, health, nutrition. and life coach. Having completed a bachelor's degree from Nortbern Arizon University, she continued her studies a gaining additional certifications in personal training, sports nutrition, health coaching and 2nd degree black belt instructor in Krav maga self defense. She has been in the industry for over 20 years giving her alot of real life experience. Owning and operating her own business for 13 years, has allowed her to serve a wide variety if needs. Her experience varies. She from served as an educator at NAU teaching Strength training program design. She has successfully coached one on one on line and in person clients on a variety of goals, fitness, figure, bikini and body building competition training, sports, injury rehabilitation, weight loss and more. Group training and seminars are a huge part of her business. She teaches group fitness, self defense classes and travels to provide seminars to businesses and groups. She is currently furthering her education by pursuing her master degree in counseling.
As a mother, business owner, competitor, fitness model, and author, Sarah knows the challenges that life throws at you and can speak from experience as she guides you through your journey.
Marisa picked up her first weight in high school when she only thought conditioning for sports
mattered the most. As time went on, living an overall healthy lifestyle became more important.
It wasn’t until her sophomore year at NAU, she had her first certified personal trainer and began
to learn proper technique and form to become a bodybuilder. She was a visionary, going onto
competing in three NPC bikini competitions, placing in every show. The love for the sport drove
her to become more empowered by facing some of her biggest insecurities. Marisa has learned
more about mental health and how to prioritize health and wellness over appearance. Since
competing, Marisa has spent valuable time and effort striving to become the best individual she
can be, physically and mentally. She has changed how she communicates fitness and health
and was re-invigorated with a new sense of purpose. Over time she has continued her
knowledge to become a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutrition Coach through
NASM. Marisa hopes to support and inspire others on how to become mindful of their own
bodies and how impactful it is to practice self awareness, self love, as well as longevity.
I began my coaching career in 2014. I reached out to Coach Sarah to begin studying under her guidance while I was living up in Flagstaff! I am blessed to be able to still work alongside her today. Since then, I have been certified by the NCCPT, NESTA, and Precision Nutrition. I have earned an Associates Degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis on Personal Training (NASM) and nutrition. I am currently on the home stretch of my B.S Kinesiology program through Arizona State University.
I have been an athlete my whole life. I grew up playing basketball and running Track & Field. I fell in love with weightlifting in my early teens and haven't been able to stay out of the weight room since! Now, my athletic career has shifted to bodybuilding competitions, in which I compete in the Figure Division. I am Nationally Qualified and plan on stepping on my first National Stage very soon! I value the lifestyle of an athlete, and every individual who is dedicated to their health. I didn't want to stop being an athlete, so I haven't! I enjoy working towards my own PR's and goals alongside my clients.
My coaches have always had a large impact on my life, and I wouldn't be who I am today without many of them. I hope to be that same grounded truth and voice of reason for everyone who begins training with me. My goal is to be able to help anyone who steps foot into the gym. I don't have a "type" or "demographic" when it comes to clients. The clients I have helped in the last 6 years, combined with the versatility of my educational career, have really forced me to become a well-rounded coach! Know that you will feel comfortable and productive with me as your coach.
Without proper nutrition our best health and life can not be achieved. Our approach is to provide basic nutrition information and guide our clients through how to implement it in their lives. We focus on making positive changes not on what we cant have. This means it's not a diet, it should be something you can do for life!
All of our coaches have extensive training and varied experience. We all believe in coaching the entire person, body, mind and spirit. We want to educate and guide you to achieve your best life. We will never use methods that could compromise your long term health and well being. You will find that our coaches are positive, uplifting and motivating. We believe that a positive approach versus an aggressive one, will allow for long term success.
